• Covered hot tubs use less electricity while maintaining a set temperature.
• Covering your hot tub will protect your hot tub's finish from the sun's ultraviolet rays.
• You are required to keep the hot tub covered to maintain warranty coverage.
• Covering and locking your hot tub helps prevent children from drowning in the hot tub.
Your new hot tub comes equipped with an electric heater. Follow the instructions mentioned
below will ensure the most efficient operation:
• Keep the hot tub's operating temperature 2˚C below the desired usage temperature when
not in use. One or two hours before use, set the temperature to the desired temperature.
• If the hot tub usage exceeds two hours a week, the set temperature should remain at the
desired usage temperature.
• The air venturis should be used sparingly. When open, water temperature drops quite
rapidly and can also dissipate chemicals.
NOTE: This method is only for hot tub usage under two hours a week.
• The filter needs to be cleaned weekly and replaced annually. Cleaning only takes a few
minutes and the result is increased water clarity and equipment longevity. The filter must be
cleaned with an approved filter cleaner monthly or more frequently if required. The hot tub must
be turned off prior to filter removal. Do not run the hot tub without a filter.
• Water level is very important to the operation of your hot tub. If the water level is too low or
too high, your hot tub will not operate properly. The water level should be approximately 1"
above the highest jet (or about ½" below the pillow) when the hot tub is not being used.
• We recommend that your hot tub water be changed every 4 – 6 weeks. You may find the
need to change your hot tub water more frequently with heavy use. When empty, your hot tub
should be cleaned with an approved hot tub shell cleaner then rinsed thoroughly.
• When filling your hot tub, always fill through the skimmer filter canister. Use only regular tap
water (not softened water, rain water, bore hole or Well water).
