CARE FOR HOT TUB CABINET
Your hot tub comes with a beautiful wood-looking WeatherGuard™ synthetic cabinet. This
synthetic cabinet requires little or no maintenance of any kind. To clean, simply wipe the
cabinet panels with a clean towel and mild detergent soap solution.
Caution: Do not use any cleaning products containing abrasives or solvents since these
could damage the surface of the hot tub cabinets and void your warranty.
SPECIAL COLD WEATHER INSTRUCTIONS (WINTERIZING)
Winter can be one of the most enjoyable times of the year to enjoy your hot tub. WE DO NOT
RECOMMEND DRAINING YOUR HOT TUB FOR THE WINTER. However, if you decide not
to use your hot tub during the winter or for a long period, you could carry out the following
procedures at your own risk:
1) Turn off the main power to the hot tub. Drain the hot tub. Use a wet-vacuum or high-pressure
blower to remove all the water, paying particular attention to air tracks and all pipework.
2) When the hot tub is completely empty, loosen and remove all pumps and electrical
equipment (including heat pump if fitted) and store in a warm, dry place.
3) Ideally have your hot tub moved and stored indoors/under cover away from damp, wet,
freezing conditions. Only use a Shoreline™ approved dealer to move your tub with the correct
equipment.
The approved method if the hot tub is not used for a period in cold weather. Leave the
hot tub full of water and switched on (a power outage can cause your hot tub equipment system
to freeze quickly. During freezing conditions, check your hot tub frequently to ensure proper
operation). Be sure to check your hot tub after any power failure to ensure the hot tub is
operational. You must still maintain the hot tub water treatment, water changes and water levels.
Hot tub water temperature can be lowered and the hot tub mode can be changed to ensure low
